VirtualSeller's history is based on the story of its founder, Marcelo Galperin, and his relationship with two leading companies in the technological world: Mercado Libre and Salesforce.

A pioneer founder of Mercado Libre

Marcelo is one of the three original founders of Mercado Libre, responsible for the strategy and development of its technological platform in its beginnings. That experience is reflected in the functionality and integration of VirtualSeller with Mercado Libre.

Pioneers in representing Salesforce in Argentina

Marcelo in 2004, as CEO of Virtual Company Services, pioneered the introduction of Salesforce in Argentina. This strategic decision enabled the rapid implementation of enterprise cloud applications in Argentina and fostered the development of a team of Salesforce specialists, who later developed VirtualSeller.

The birth of VirtualSeller in 2010

In 2010, VirtualSeller took shape with the vision of enabling companies to operate completely virtually and in the cloud. Our first product was an ERP based on the Salesforce platform, designed specifically for the Argentinean market. This ERP had a clear purpose: to complement the Salesforce offering, which focuses on the "front office" (marketing, sales and customer service), with a complete set of tools for the "back office" (billing, collections, accounting, inventories, purchasing and payments). VirtualSeller became the bridge that allowed companies to implement a "virtual enterprise" vision, and this was successfully materialized in the implementation of our ERP in the first customers, who have been operating virtually and very successfully for more than a decade.

Pioneers in the development

In 2012, with the opening of the Mercado Libre platform, VirtualSeller played an essential role in the development and testing of the original APIs. We were the first company to develop a native integration with Mercado Libre, allowing sellers to efficiently manage all their sales operations on this platform from Salesforce, securely and with growth that exceeded their expectations in all cases.

At VirtualSeller we believe that in the future all businesses will be virtualized, and the more virtual they are, the more adaptable, fast, efficient and profitable they will be.
